Our skills philosophy is based very much on a back to basics approach that delivers a solid foundation of core skills that can really make a difference to your riding- whatever level you are at.

We’ve split our courses for 2010 into different abilities, so that regardless of where you are at with your riding there is a course where you will feel challenged without being out of your depth.
Our courses are limited to 6riders, include personal and video feedback (including a DVD post course of your day and your riding), and are delivered exclusively by ourselves - and as former world cup athletes from both disciplines of mountain biking (downhill and cross country), as well as having nearly 10years coaching experience each, we’ve got all bases covered for whatever you want to learn.

This course is designed around the same essentials philosophy of core skills and their importance but aimed at riders that have some experience of mountain biking but would like to improve their technique and confidence.
The course is full day (9.30am-5pm) and will build on your core skills to improve your confidence and help you to not only negotiate trail obstacles such as drop off’s and step up’s, faster and more effective cornering but also give you an understanding of how you ride-knowledge that will unlock your riding potential.
This course is intermediate level and will be focused on mainly blue trails with an introduction to red trail grade obstacles.
We set our courses mostly on Fridays-Glentress can get pretty busy at weekends so it can make it difficult to stop on the trail (and the queue for carrot cake is longer).
If the dates on offer don’t suit then we can arrange other days (including weekends).
Learning in a group is advantageous in our experience, but if you want 1:1 we can do that as well as private group bookings.
